Principal Solicitor, Collaborative Lawyer & Mediator
Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2000, Caroline has practised family law across Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset for around 20 years. During this time, Caroline was a partner in two successful local firms and she subsequently decided to set up a niche Family Law practice in 2009.
Caroline was one of the first Collaborative Lawyers in the South West and in 2005, she helped to establish the Local Regional Group.
Caroline’s practice covers all areas of family law and she particularly enjoys working with clients who have complex business structures.
Caroline enjoys helping clients to focus on a positive outcome to their current difficulties.
Caroline qualified as a Mediator in 2010. She takes a direct approach in mediation, using her knowledge of family law to help clients reach a solution without protracted legal proceedings.
Caroline enjoys living locally with her husband and two young children. She has a particular interest in the local performing arts scene.
Senior Legal Executive & Collaborative Lawyer
Emily started her legal career in 2010 in Dorset and she has been practising in Salisbury with Inspire since 2015.
Emily advises clients in relation to all aspects of family law, with a particular interest in assisting clients with complex financial assets and property. Emily is also regularly instructed by clients wishing to resolve arrangements for their children.
Emily is a member of Resolution, the national organisation of family lawyers who are dedicated to resolving family matters in a non-confrontational way. She is fully committed to the introduction of a no-fault divorce, having worked with researchers to provide them with information to give to Parliament on this current issue.
Emily is known for her direct approach and she is often praised by clients for giving them frank advice and realistic expectations.
Emily is also a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and she enjoys working with her clients in this way.
Prior to commencing her legal career, Emily excelled with her studies, achieving a distinction in all of her Legal Executive exams.
Adam qualified as a Solicitor in 2018, having trained with a top 50 national law firm. He gained a Distinction in his legal studies.
Adam advises clients on all aspects of family law, including advising on divorce and financial matters, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and the breakdown of cohabiting, non-married relationships.
Adam has a particular interest in helping clients to resolve disagreements about children, including who they live with or spend time with, how often they should spend time with each parent, and where they should live (for example where one parent may wish to relocate to another part of the UK or abroad). Adam also advises in relation to disputes on specific issues such as schooling, holidays or changing a child’s name.
As with all of us at Inspire, Adam strives to achieve the best outcome for his clients by agreement. However, where this is not possible, Adam will represent his clients in the Family courts.
Prior to settling in Salisbury, Adam studied History and Politics at the University of Leeds before living and working in Spain. Adam enjoys playing squash, hiking, and spending time with his young family.

Piper attended school locally. After completing her exams, including an A. Level in Law, she took a well-earned year away from her studies to travel around Europe. In addition to the valuable support that she provides to both Adam and Julie, Piper is also studying for a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours at The Open University.
